If you like your cake sweet you can add some extra honey/agave, Stevia or palm sugar. (for variation you can also add some extra nuts/raisins/cranberries/dates/coconut rasp or blueberries)
First mash the bananas until smooth. Then add the eggs one by one followed by the spelt or almond flour. Mix this well with a spatula and add the mixed spices, vanilla and agave syrup. Pour the batter in the baking mould and bake at 170 or 180 degrees for about 45 minutes (the baking time can differ per oven). You can check the bread by pricking in it with a wooden skewer. If it comes out clean, the bread is ready! While cooling down the bread you can melt the dark chocolate (in a bain-marie or in the microwave). Pour the chocolate over the cake and place it in the fridge.
TIP: Freeze your banana bread in pieces so you can save some for later! Or share it with your colleagues on a working day.. They will love it!
